Potsdamer Tanztage – Contemporary dance festival | © TMBThe performances form the central part of the festival: solo works and large ensembles, narrative dance theater, and pure movement, pieces for children, and unconventional performances alternate in a rich program. The goal is to present the diversity of the current international dance scene, characterized by its high creativity. A particular focus of the festival is the closeness between the audience and the artists. Therefore, integral to the festival are workshops, aimed at both interested amateurs and professional dancers, as well as audience discussions encouraging exchange after the performances. Concerts, dance films, installations, and DJs complement the program, inviting visitors to linger in the Schiffbauergasse.
